What Teens Say They Want for the Holidays

Teenagers. It’s not always easy to figure out what they want. When it comes to Christmas, even when they do tell us what they want, it may be way out of our price range.

What’s interesting about a new survey on what teens want is that it doesn’t just give a glimpse into their favorite brands and items (which we may or may not be able to afford), it states that cash is king. It turns out those grandmas who stashed cash in cards had it right all along!

Sure, it’s unlikely we would give them the amount they’d like even if we did have it. (Did you catch that story about the girl who included $4000 as part of her outrageous wish list that went viral?) Though material objects take 9 out of 10 mentions on this year’s list, Piper Jaffray notes that an increasing number of teens are prioritizing “experiences,” such as trips and vacations.
